Incorporating innovation and sustainability, our facilities host a range of cutting-edge solutions dedicated to water management and resource recovery. From advanced Effluent Treatment and Reverse Osmosis Plants to eco-conscious Sludge Management and Salt Recovery Plants, we employ the latest technologies and expert knowledge to ensure efficient, environmentally friendly processes, transforming industrial water treatment and waste management.
Our wastewater treatment facilities efficiently manage human and industrial waste disposal, ensuring environmental and human health protection. We employ advanced technology to combat environmental pollution effectively.
Our reverse osmosis process stands as a membrane-based marvel, primarily used for desalination. In this method, we meticulously separate water from dissolved salts by propelling pressurised saline solution through a water-permeable membrane. This process hinges on the pressure differential generated between the saline solution and the product water, effectively guiding the liquid through the membrane. The remaining feedwater exits through the pressurised side of the plant as brine. It's worth noting that reverse osmosis is the converse of natural osmosis, where solvent moves from low solute concentration to high, all made possible by the semipermeable nature of the membrane—allowing solvent passage while blocking solutes.
In the realm of wastewater treatment, sludge management plays a pivotal role. Our primary objectives in sludge management encompass the retention of valuable nutrients within the sludge, efficient utilisation of its materials and energy, and the implementation of sustainable disposal practices. At Systech, our team of experts and streamlined processes ensure the development and maintenance of an effective and environmentally responsible sludge management system.
Our Effect Evaporator is a critical component of our water treatment process. It takes the RO Reject and subjects it to a series of advanced treatments. First, it undergoes treatment in a falling film evaporator, followed by a salt recovery system utilising crystallisation. The remaining byproduct from the salt recovery system then enters forced circulation evaporators. Finally, the last reject from the forced circulation evaporator is processed in an agitator thin film dryer, effectively drying the mixed salt in the reject effluent. This meticulous process allows for the reuse of condensate water, promoting sustainability and efficiency in both our industrial processes and boiler feed applications.
Our expertise extends to agitator thin-film dryers, a vital component of our operations. These specialised dryers are instrumental in transforming slurry or solution-type feed into free-flowing powder. As the feed progresses through the agitator thin-film dryer, it undergoes a series of transformations, transitioning from paste to wet powder, and finally to dry powder. This meticulous process exemplifies our commitment to precision and efficiency in material processing.
Our salt recovery plants are designed to efficiently reclaim various types of salt, including sodium chloride, sodium sulphate, and mixed solid salts. Additionally, we specialise in caustic recovery, ensuring a comprehensive approach to resource sustainability and environmental responsibility.
